What car or type of car should I be saving up for?

Im 17yrs old and looking to save up for my first car. To keep it short all I want is something that looks clean and drives smooth but is still decently quick and I can have a little fun. I am also into car modding so I want something that I wont be made fun of for adding exterior or exhaust mods to.
