Romance bugs

Does anyone else experience how glitchy the romances can be? I swear I feel like half my playthroughs the romances will glitch out at some point, and I'm always constantly checking the console out of fear that the romances got terminated because of a glitch. Like in particular I'm talking about Jaheiras and Viconias romance they tend to be the hardest to get through successfully
