Lorelai looks old enough to have a 16 year old.

I think people just used to look older. But I just started a rewatch and in the first couple episodes when they are all completely shocked that she has a teenager I'm like, really? Nowadays she could easily be a 40 year old who just used sunscreen and went to the gym, lol.

Absolutely no hate on Lauren, shes obviously gorgeous, but I find it hard to believe that everybody instantly did the math and was completely shocked.
