Why does everyone love Brian griffin, because I hate him

I hate the season 4-21 Brian because his a narcissistic scumbag, a terrible father, a horrible boyfriend and his man’s worst friend and I’m better off with vinnie the dog at least he’s selfless and Brian is selfish
