[Alevel] retaking h1

hi just a few qns so that i can a more informed choice HAHAHA

1. the retaking h1 is still a thing right? like as long as im not taking my h2s and gp, i can take h1 separately and the retaken one will be considered for uni apps

2. if i retake h1, will they take my best grade or the most recent grade? couldnt find much information about this so if help will be certainly appreciated thanks!!
