TIFU by a unexpected drop at the family dinner

The family gathering was a typical dinner with my immediate family, including my parents, sister, brother-in-law, and my nephew. We were all sitting around the table, enjoying a delicious meal that my mom had cooked. We were talking about our lives and catching up with each other since we hadn't seen each other for a few weeks.

As we were eating, I started to feel a little gassy, but I thought I could hold it in until I could excuse myself to the bathroom.
