Sandy Power Outage information

I know many people are without electricity due to Sandy. I am not in the area directly affected, but wanted to share some links for power outage monitoring web sites and outage reporting numbers. This list is not all inclusive, but please add others you know of that may help. I am not familiar with the area so some data is probably missing or in the wrong place. In many areas, the utility may already be aware of your outage, but most encourage you to report anyway so they know when all services are restored. Remember to turn off heating/cooling systems and unplug major appliances, turn off ovens, etc to reduce risk of fire and reduce load on the power grid when it begins coming back online.
