What do we think of Dan Slott's Spider-Man run continuing?

So Dan Slott is writing a Spider-Man run that is secondary from Amazing Spider-Man and at first it seemed to just be a 7 issue Spider-Verse mini series but now it's still going. There's a new story arc happening called Maxed Out and the series is slated to go to Issue 9 atm. I don't really know how to feel about it tbh. I feel like it should've just ended at Issue 7 and I don't really like Dan Slott on Spider-Man that much and it doesn't help that this run hasn't really been all that great. On the other hand though Amazing Spider-Man is garbage right now and this new story arc looks better than that and I'm tired of rewatching Spider-Man TAS for my fix of serialized Spider-Man story arcs. While I'm not big on Dan Slott writing Spider-Man I will admit he has written some good Spider-Man comics. Basically I'm conflicted about Dan Slott's current Spider-Man run.
