(Spoilers All) - Jon Snow and a familiar quote.

Just a funny notion I came up with the other day, regarding the fate of Jon Snow after the events of ADWD. The state motto of New Hampshire is "Live free or die", the full quote is in fact "Live free or die: Death is not the worst of evils." spoken by a man named John Stark. Now that Jon Snow has presumably died he is no longer bound by the oath of the Nights Watch, his legitimacy given to him in Robb's letter should it ever turn up would make him Jon Stark. Or is this just me running out of tinfoil? Could there be other historical figures or quotes that may hold the secrets of other characters in similar predicaments?
