[SNES or Genesis] [mid 90s] Floating hands?
There's a game from my childhood where it was set in some futuristic city and in-between level transitions you were a set of purple hands floating.

Sounds like The Lawnmower Man, based on the movie. Had slightly different versions on SNES and Genesis but both had cyberspace sequences where you see your hands in front of you.
I'm pretty sure that's it!! Thank you !
