Could any TF2 masters help me out?
So for whatever reason when I tried to play TF2 yesterday I was having this strange issue in which my mouse was controlling my character and I couldn't look around. After quite a bit of searching I managed to find a solution which involved opening the console and typing "-canmousemove" . Today I hopped into the game to discover I had the mouse issue again. When I went to open the console nothing happened. I checked to make sure I was hitting the right key and that developer console was enabled but nothing is working. Any help would be much appreciated.
EDIT: The mouse issue fixed itself but I still can't open the console.

First, grasshopper, you must enable the console by going to Options>Controls>Keyboard>Advanced Options, then click the box that says "Enable developer console". Also, if you don't already, enable fast weapon switch!
Yes I know about enabling developer console, the problem is that I can't open it even with it enabled. Also why do you recommend fast weapon switch?
Well, it just kind of takes out an extra step, and it's really useful in the middle of a fight. It's especially helpful with weapons like the Degreaser. And sorry, I'm not sure why it wouldn't work if it's enabled. Try to reset your key-bindings, it might have been unbound.
