For me, it's completely avoiding it until I read media that addresses it, then I shed a couple of tears and pack it away again from later lol. My current read is this manga called blood on the tracks, it's about emotional incest and manipulation of a mother to her son. All I could think was that I feel bad for the boy, and there were so many moments where I remembered being in the boy's position and listening to my mom saying manipulative things like that. I finished half the manga in one sitting, prolly will finish the other half by today even tho I just started it today lol. Already shed a couple of tears, probably will shed some more, have some more epiphanies, and then shove it aside to deal with some other day, and that day will never come coz I keep postponing it. Unstable si and inferior Fi I guess lol

Damn, it's so interesting the many different ways we deal 🫂 I know I cry so easily with movies, texts, anything that's slightly relatable or moving to me, even if it's not relatable, I might end up putting myself in those shoes and the result is that I'm devasted after lol I cry so much and ponder about the topic, ruminating, until I find something that can make my focus shift lol and to me it's so easy to come across things that make me emotional, it's everywhere 😄 I'm often caught off guard. When I know I'm not in a mood to start crying lots, I even spare myself from seeing stuff I know is gonna be sensitive content, or rest assured the waterfall will come haha

Omg all of that is so relatable, except sometimes I purposefully look at sad stuff to trigger the waterfall even though it hurts just so I can feel something... Psychological masochism and Fi grip 😭
