[THANK YOU] Look at me posting to the correct place, and more mindless ramblings, lol

Thank You

Apologies to all, I am now close to 10 days behind on getting to the Post Office and posting thanks. Hope to be caught up as soon as possible, but mislaying 1 pile last week isn't helping. The good news is I am making an effort. The bad news is we are due to hit 99 here on Tuesday, and the rapid heat swings don't help my health conditions any. So, I am under no illusions that I will be caught up anytime soon.

In reference to the title, yep, a while back, I posted to my own profile, again so sorry to all affected by that lapse.

A quick update, as most of you will already have received my job update postcards by now. It seems not all are aware that the first job didn't pan out sue to my health conditions, but i did get a better and more suitable position, and have just completed my 4th week now. The pay is low, but the hours are usually a good fit for me (Saturdays 10.30am -4pm, not so good -- nobody needs to be awake that early EVER, lol). Some days are better than others, but it isn't so difficult that I need to contemplate giving up, so that's a win!! For all those who have sent cards with supportive messages, I truly appreciate them!

For those who want further updates, send me a PM. I will try to get more details to you shortly.

On to the thanks for mail received earlier this week or perhaps last, apologies agin for the delays...

u/Pinkpengin x2 so, postcard 1 (read without bifocals) Thank you for the Space and Rounds card, lololol..when I actually put the glasses on and re-read it, I cackled, so close yet so far away!! You are so organized!!! OMG!! Just WOW!! OK, so funny story about postcard 2, will try to writr my reply this week, along with more 80s black and white trauma. Let's just say, you probably had no clue that hideous, yes i said it, hideous vintage pac-bell card could trigger such memories.

u/libertyprogrammer thank you for the awesome RAoC 10th postcard. I had no idea it was from you for the longest time (misplaced my glasses). It is really lovely, did you design it? I love it!!

u/jaimekj thank you for the super cute Easter rabbit cabbage card. I hope yo write a response this week, and apologies if it is a tad bit long, you just really put me into lecture mode, lol. The job is going fairly well, and I have about a decade of regrets to share, lol.

u/56Thorns x2 love the happy mail. Both are so quirky and cool. I think I like the Marion Peck postcard best, but the sneaker meat postcard was so weird, love it!!! Will try to send a reply this week, but may need to give up and send a message, lol.

u/doggotoast thanks for the pretty pink iris postcards. I actually try super hard not to make wye contact with any items, as we are not allowed to shop and it's brings on serious regret when I see cool stuff. Like the 2.00 Gymnast Barbie I couldn't buy last week, haha.

u/Marinewife0922 x2 thank you for the Doughboy chocolate mold postcard and the Eric Carle postcard. I have a load of Eric Carle stickers I have yet to put to good use and one of my most treasured antiques was a WWI UK Brodie helmet. Sadly, it was stolen a few years ago, and I have yet to replace it.

u/botanybeanqueen thanks for the "I Adulted Today" themed card and stickers. Not sure if mail has crossed. New update, new job. Will send another card just to be sure you have my latest news. Hugs to you!!
