Why does gaygay keep using the "uhh... he is right behind me, isn't he?" humor? Does he watch marvel?

reddit.comYeah, but they just won't say that line which makes it cringe af...

We should abuse and ridicule him for watching Marvel just like our sibling Titanfolk
55
Wait what happened in titanfolk
8
We dont talk about what happened in titanfolk
51
If i ever get a time machine, I'm gonna go back in time and stop isayama from ever watching guardians of the galaxy...

I don’t necessarily think that it’s that joke, I think people just keep appearing out of nowhere behind people
21
In order for it to be that kind of joke, sukuna would have to be like “theres NO way in HELL maki will appear behind me with a sword”
19
Well uh... THIS is akward...
5
i mean it's hype, and from a narrative perspective it makes sense to attack someone where they can't see you, but probably they can sense the cursed energy of the person behind them
19
I still think maki didn't get enough credit for SNEAKING UP ON SUKUNA

This isn’t being used as humor?

I love the choso panel it’s so unintentionally funny to me and I don’t know why
1
I don’t find it as humor. More as surprising.

gulp hes right behind me isnt he?
1
Yes he has hinted that he has seen marvel films, also it’s a common trope especially in fight focused fiction
