Interesting Idea?

I had this idea after watching the Buddy/Orange match last night. I understand that this is unrealistic, and very much a fantasy booking idea only. It might be fun on Dark and Elevation with some unsanctioned titles.

What if, when a member of a group holding a group title (tag/trios) wrestles a singles match, lost their title to the challenger if they lost?

EXAMPLE: Brody King vs Hobbs for the TNT belt

Brody wins: He's now the TNT champ and Trios champ. Any match he has, he'll be defending both titles.

Hobbs wins: He's now the TNT champ and Trios champ. Any match he has, he'll be defending both titles.

I think that it would lead to some interesting combinations of performers. It would also put the pressure of winning a singles match to keep their spot in the team. In my example, if Hobbs won, Brody could still come out with the HOB, he just wouldn't be able to wrestle. No Freebird-style rules here. Maybe the team gets a slight name change, from House of Black to House of Hobbs or Hobbs' House.

Using this stipulation, how about everybody come up with their own matchups that would result in strange championship teams? Let's use ROH and AEW rosters, and performers that have had a match on either show. Even if you have a list of matchups that have to happen to get to where you want to be, post it and fun with it.

So trios titles could be lost in non-trios matches? Why have a trios title?

Maybe as like a one time run of matches, like instead of a draft, to get a little shake up of titles and start up some new feuds etc. but as a regular rule or stipulation it's a nightmare. Plus tag team wrestling already gets the shit end on booking more times than not, and allowing tag belts to be defended in non tag team matches, would detract from the division if it was done all the time.

Ok to be fair, this is a fun idea. But at the same time, would be impossible to book tag champs in singles matches, would ruin the entire tag division, is extremely illogical and yeah. Maybe if there was a title dedicated specifically to this, I would love that
