Where to begin with psychoanalysis?

Hey, r/psychoanalysis. I wish to learn more about psychoanalysis and the following psychoanalysts:

  • Carl Jung;
  • Jacques Lacan;
  • Sigmund Freud;
  • Slavoj Žižek (perhaps not a psychoanalyst);
  • and Wilhelm Reich.

Each of the above psychoanalysts have a plethora of books, so, which do you recommend as introductory/key texts? Secondary sources are recommended, too, as reading solely primary sources may inhibit my understanding of them. I am very interested in philosophy, so the more philosophy-orientated the books, the better.

I'd particularly like to learn about psychoanalysis' relationship with Marxism. Upon Googling it, I discovered this and many of the "major works" are by (apart from the psychoanalysts already mentioned) Mark Horkheimer, Theodor Adorno, Herbert Marcuse, Walter Benjamin and Erich Fromm. If vital to the understanding of the relationship between psychoanalysis and Marxism, might you recommended primary texts by/secondary texts about those, too?

All recommendations are appreciated, r/psychoanalysis. Thanks in advance!
