Share your Ideas with the Social Experiences team!

Official

Hi again everyone! This is Ryanality, hijacking the support team’s account once more!

We've gathered all the top voted ideas and suggestions from our previous ideas topic of the month and shared them with our Accessories team. They're excitedly going through them and we're on to our next topic of the month.

This time around, our Social Experiences team wants to hear from you! We’re looking forward to you sharing your ideas over the next few weeks in our community in our Ideas of the month board. We’ll be watching all your feedback, votes, and comments once again to find the top themes and threads. The top 5 threads will be going to the team directly (sorry, we can't promise if they'll add them to the roadmap though)!

What are your best, favorite, or interesting ideas, suggestions, or improvements to Quest VR social experiences and features? Share your ideas for improving groups and VR parties. What would make it easy for you to connect with friends in VR? What social VR features might be missing that you want with friends? What are you favorite social hangouts?

Over the next few weeks we’ll be watching the ideas, votes, and comments shared on our forums. Share your thoughts and vote on other people suggestions so we can find the top ones!

It would be great to have a way to filter out interacting with kids. I have my own kids and I love them, but I’m not trying to get on VR and deal with other people’s kids dropping N bombs.

Verify peoples’ age and make an API to make it easier for developers to match make based on age.

Improve social features on the pc oculus. For exaple, trying to talk to people on quest party on oculus link is a nightmare, first and foremost imo is to fix the party system as it means that people on pc can talk to each other easier if they want to play a cross platform game. Maybe is too niche but meta does own the largest part of the pcvr market.

Whatever you make, just make sure I can play games uninterrupted. It’s also nice to make sure people don’t get any messages or social notifications while I’m showing them games on my oculus headset.

Neat 👍

Maybe when you take your headset off for a moment, it shouldn't kick you from the party

Or there should be an option/toggle to not be kicked
