903kc vs 902kc Japanese Flip Phones

I am in the US and I want a 903kc japanese flip phone, but when I see them for sale online it says 902kc/903kc which leads me to believe they will send me one of the two. But I have only seen info online of people getting the 903kc to work. Does anyone know if the 902kc also works in the US or why they the sellers would list them as 902kc/903kc?

Also does anyone know how quality the gps/maps is on these phones?
