Theory About Jaggy and KSBD Ending

I think KSBD will end with Alison baking bread for Jagganoth. I have two points which support my theory, first that violence is suggested to be the wrong solution, and second that Jagganoth's annihilation might be inevitable.

First, Maya says that both, "How do I kill [Jagganoth]?" and "How do I defeat [Jagganoth]?" are the wrong questions. However she says that the second question is better, but still wrong. So there is something about greater violence being the wrong avenue here. Which makes sense, because if Zoss couldn't beat Jagganoth in an infinite number of cycles, why would we assume the solution is just more violence?

Second, I think Jagganoth might be inevitable, like death. He is both an unstoppable force and an immovable object. All the strongest beings in the universe couldn't beat him. He has won this war every cycle going back until potentially infinity. He is truly invulnerable, and cannot be defeated, only slowed. I think he might be a metaphor for the inevitability of death. If so, how would killing or defeating death make any sense? Of course they're the wrong questions.

My theory then is that the question is something like "How do I delay him?" The end of KSBD won't be a violent heroine beating the crap out of another big bad guy, it'll be Alison finally listening to what Cio was saying before they all went off to fight in Solomon David's tournament. The end of KSBD will be accepting happiness, and trying to make the most of what little time they have left. I think the end of KSBD will be Alison baking bread for Jagganoth, like his mother used to, and it will make him either so profoundly happy or so confused by the kindness that he'll postpone his divine, inevitable rampage. Eventually Jagganoth will still destroy the universe and restart the cycle, but Throne will be a happier place in the meantime, and it will last longer than in past cycles. This is a bit like what Maya wanted to do when she gave up being a demiurge, except Alison will kill Incubus first, then choose happiness. The point of KSBD will then be: the point of life isn't power, it's your loved ones, but you need enough power to protect your loved ones.

(I have nothing to support this theory, just want to get this on the record somewhere on the off chance this turns out to be right.)

TL;DR: I think KSBD ends with Alison baking bread for Jagganoth, in order to slow his inevitable universal annihilation.

I think she annihilates Jag, but not as an act of violence, but of freeing him from the prison of the wheel. That annihilation can be an act of kindness, or even, simply, one of "it's enough that she wants to achieve it".

I mean yeah Jagg basically had that reaction when Solomon went Super Saiyan. Jagg very much wants it to end

Don’t we think ajash was some kind of bread?

I'm wondering if the final battle will be extremely anticlimactic. Like Allison cuts him down in one stroke, Sanjuro-style.

Or even more anti-climatic, like the Elder Scroll's CODA, where the protagonist convinces the numidium that it doesn't exist.

I was thinking perhaps the next logical progression in those questions is "how do I CUT Jagganoth?" But that's probably still not the big final correct question

Just gonna lobotomize him like that one Superman episode

"... And then what?"

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN, HEIR, THERE IS NO THEN"

"You bumbling idiot. You think that destroying the Wheel will end it all? There is no end. You will break the cycle and a new one, with new masters and new rules, will begin. You will just be a slave to a new reality. Then what, Chakkravartin?! THEN FUCKING WHAT?!!"

That is what Jagganoth wants though. He is counting on an 'and then'

This creation was stalled into a sterile cycle with no hope of anything better. He wants to undo Creation, end Metatron, and he is betting that a new creation will coalesce and is hoping it will do better than theirs did, even if he's not there to see or enjoy it.

Overall it feels me closer to him trying to just give the multiverse an euthanasia, not an actual rebirth. That the inexistence of death is better than the stagnation of the wheel. The Lion of the Dead Man has an epiteth for more than the literal reason of it being the name of his old war band. Its really not for a new start but purely for the only way he knows he can fundamentally suicide.

I think that you're on the right track but I think that it will be more powerful than that. I think Allison is going to start off by fighting jagg in a challenge duel and it's going to get into a philosophical debate where they cross physical and metaphorical swords, and eventually they'll both realize that they want to break the wheel and that the way to break the wheel is for them both to surrender, or at the very least for Allison to do so. The struggle for power is ultimately futile.

Jagganoth is not the final boss. He's doing what he's doing because he thinks it's the only way to defeat Metatron. All Allison needs to do to stop him is to prove that she has a better shot at defeating Metatron than he does.

Maya's last question to Meti was "what wish can I grant you?"

Meti's reply was basically that Maya had nothing she desired.

Maya responded she was soon to claim the Throne of heaven. She would have the world...

What did Meti ask her then? For Bread? Noodles? Maya could have ordered out. What did Meti ask that was so beyond anything Maya had considered that she gave up conquest.

No I don't think it will end with Alison baking bread. It's more likely that Jagganoth offers Allison a boon, perhaps for her key. Then Jaggy won't be wounded from the battle and will be able to take down the scribe. Maybe she'll ask him to Kill Six Billion Demons.

I'm not sure if the question to be asked is directly related to Jagganoth, cause it has to be something in the same vein as what Meti asked Maya. Something that shattered her resolve and sent her fleeing from Royalty
