Day 1 Discussion Thread. The Milwaukee Brewers. Why will they win the 2013 World Series? Why won't they?

Editing my Edit: If this sounds good to everyone else, I think that, from now on, in the posts, there will be a sort of prospective roster for next year compiled by the subreddit of the team in question. Hopefully this idea can catch on and the subs are active enough to give everyone who isn't a fan of their team a good background. I'm headed over to post on r/TexasRangers right now. If this doesn't work for the first few teams, I'll just start linking the posts to baseball-reference.com for team statistics from last season. Thanks to u/Bgro for the ideas. Hey all! Welcome to the first day of our experiment. The team today is the Milwaukee Brewers. Please give AT LEAST one reason why they will win the World Series in 2013 and AT LEAST one reason why they will not. The more reasons, they better. Text walls are encouraged. As a bonus, I'll tell you guys my favorite player on the featured team of the day. When else will I have 200+ people listen to me with no choice? That being said, my favorite player on the Milwaukee Brewers is John Axford. You just can't best that stache in today's game.

I'll chime in with answers to my own questions depending on how familiar I am with the team. Again, I tell you this because I have the capability and the pulpit to let my otherwise irrelevant voice be heard right now. This is being posted so early in the morning, because I'm working on my Humanities final paper. What say you we throw David Hume to the Astros? No one will ever hear from him again.... I'm going to try to catch some sleep now, though. Hopefully I don't screw the Brewers fans over by posting too early in the morning. So, if you see this, please, please, please upvote. I'm hoping this can be near the top all day today. The last thing we want is for this to get buried because of not enough early morning Redditors. After this one, I should get to a consistent schedule of posting these around 9am CST.
