Beta on a side, lifting you up, moving in, is a scary thing to anyone.

Yes, because of the hammer, but moreso, because once John is controlling you, you are in trouble. He's one of the most relentless control drivers out there.

Precision and power, relentlessly aggressive and utterly fearless. This is why he's the UK's premier robot combat pilot.

The only, read only team to have ever KO'ed Carbide.

And he did it with a non-functioning weapon, just pure control.

John's a legend.

I mean they KO'd Carbide via the pit. Like they dominated that fight without using their weapon and they won the fight extremely hard but that isn't exactly an option in the battlebox.

Honestly, I expect them to ram Bloodsport into the wall a couple times to try and stop the spinner, if it stops then John will go to town on Bloodsport's motor.

I'm gonna be mad impressed with Bloodsport if it can mangle that wedge like they did to Rotator

13
Driiger_Carteyan•

I can't see Bloodsport doing anything but grinding on it. Rotator kept exposing its wheel guards for some reason - the weak spot - and they're what Bloodsport kept chewing into. Beta is literally designed to bully horizontals, and that armour is thick.

I wonder if Beta will risk trying to hit the head while the weapon is spinning.

Hungry-Drink-566•

I hope they do, and i hope kinda that they hit it aswell. High risk, high reward xD

markandsparkPrecipitate down the Hate•

It's probably not worth the risk when they can push them against a wall first, but it would be fun

jimi15Pain is Your Friend•

Iirc with the excepeption of Tombstone neither Beta or Terrorhurtz has ever lost against a Horizontal. Not sure if Bloodsport can pull of that feat.

2
KillDozer688•

The only time Terrorhurtz ever lost to a horizontal spinner was Fluffy, and that was in its very first year competing where it hadn't really been optimized for fighting horizontals.

Yea forgot that one.

This-Catch2602:betas5: Wait for a good hit•

Beta in general is impressive when running its standard front wedge and not the anti-vert one. They’re 8-1 all-time, not counting its forfeit to Bender in season 5.0

How is this a spoiler. Not being a dick just dont understand what is being spoiled here ? Is it a sub rule about any photos of unseen fights having to be labeled spoiler?

pearlgreymusicBloodsport, Data Collector (3lb) | BattleBots•

Some people like to have the bot configuration as a surprise before it airs. Sometimes the preview pics also show a big hit or damage.

Pretty much every bot community will have some form of rule of needing things to have spoilers or be forbidden entirely before the episode airs (including when it’s available on Discovery Plus but hasn’t aired on TV yet, since episodes are available morning-of l-airdate

lljkStonefish•

Has it aired on TV in the last timezone of its country of origin yet?

No.

Then it's a spoiler.

What is ? A picture? This doesnt show the results of the fight

5
lljkStonefish•

Yes, a picture. Any element of the broadcast.

It doesn't show the results, but it doesn't have to. Sometimes "Bot X has a fork under Bot Y" is all you need to know to figure out most of what's going to happen.

Sure, you can be a pedantic knob and say "it's just a picture of the walkout tunnel, nothing special happens" or similar, but it's just easier to define the standard rule for any TV show as "any part of the episode" and get on with your life.
