Leading CVP/Center politician and ex-head of police and justice for Zug turns out to be a crackhead.

If this isn't a glowing review for a political party that consistently opposes almost any legalization or decriminalization of *recreational drugs I don't know what is.

EDIT:*

To be fair, you pretty much have to smoke crack to vote for the CVP. Let alone run for them.

No wonder they re-identified themselves as "Die Miitte" too easy to turn the C CVP into crack for memes. They knew.

Isnt that kinda the case with all parties?

Decriminalize all drugs, its just costing the police time and money.

Completely separate procedure.

The license is handled by the stva in a separate administrative procedure - probably there will be consequences on that area as well since essentially they will follow the facts established in the criminal conviction

So that's why he resigned....

Feel bad for his kids, as if the whole debacle around his affair partner/their kid wasn't enough....how irresponsible.

After all the crap, all he had is to shell out a bit of money?

Wow - that's massive!

I would have never expected, that Crack is so deep in the middle of the leading government.

The title is misleading. Smoking crack is not the main problem. Driving while high on crack is.
