Why is the fandom so obsessed with the idea of Elain becoming ruler of the Spring Court?

I don't understand the fan obsession with suddenly making Elain ruler of the Spring Court. Just because she likes flowers and gardening doesn't mean she knows how to rule a court. And Lucien wouldn't make sense to take Tamlin's place either, being heir to a court himself. (And please I DON'T WANT Tamlin to die. In my opinion that would be clichê. Give Tamlin a lesson and make him solve his own problems without having to sacrifice his life for someone else.)
