How do I keep pigeons away? Or how can I reduce as much sound as possible?

I live in the Netherlands, and this year is the first time ever we have like an insane amount of pigeons outside and that is costing me hours of sleep. They start being loud the moment the sun rises (between 5 and 6 am) and have repeated this process since the beginning of around 2 months ago and I’m certain they plan on continuing until the sun rises later, somewhere in September. My windows/walls are not the most soundproof ones but every time I open a window I see a pigeon chilling on a tree in our yard or on our roof and won’t stop cooing until I go outside and chase it away. I have tried earplugs, noise cancelling headphones, sounds for sleep on youtube, but none of them has worked as the pigeons are still way too loud. As for the pigeons, I have been searching for nests (none found) and I have bought a crow prop which I was told would scare away pigeons (didn’t work, they just sat beside it and stared at it). I honestly don’t know what to do about this, because it feels impossible to keep pigeons away, as they’re just free animals that exist wherever they please. If anyone has tips on either repelling pigeons or making my room soundproof(?) and so giving me back my hours of sleep I was planning to have, I will be forever grateful.
