Not the first time I've seen NEOFRAG do brain-dead plays. A bit harsh, but it's the truth. Peeking here should be instinctual after Degster's shot, made me pull my hair out of frustration.

I honestly think they thought the CT that Degster killed had tapped the bomb and hopped off of it - you can see Hobbit tap it, then Degster gets the kill and checks the bomb for the defuse wires - clearly still a huge misplay by OG, but I don't think it is AS bad as everyone is saying.

For what it's worth, from NEOFRAG's POV you can also hear Hobbit reloading his AK as Degster kills the other player, so maybe that also in a way factored in to his decision to not peek. Still a huge misplay though, yeah.

No he didn't. This is tier 1 cs, they should not be making this mistake. Sure if it's a low elo faceit match then this is okay but in tier 1 this should never happen

Yeah, there's lots of evidence to suggest it was a tap. Second CT peeked at almost the exact same angle and position, and it was plenty of time to be the same person. However, Neo not peeking was pretty clearly a misplay. It was 1v2. The last remaining CT wasn't going to push an AWP with the bomb down. Even a trade for the info would likely have been worth it even if the guy wasn't defusing with a kit. No amount of peeking from Degster would have saved that round because they were just too far away by the time his AWP was up again.
I'd love to watch just Neo and try to figure out just how bad it was. From the clip, he was watching a garbage angle. If he didn't peek at all during the shootout, then you have to wonder why he was even there instead of flanking or watching an angle his teammate wasn't already covering.

I downloaded the demo because I was curious as well, but it turns out it was nothing, it's just both teams typing !ready and the bot spamming the countdown. There were no messages exchanged between the teams.

I think OG possibly played the worst CSGO map i have ever seen. The rounds they won were based on fast cs. Yet whenever it came to a post plant they just lost. First half they go 6-0 up and end up losing the half 8-7. When OG didn't win the round by pure out aim they just didn't win. And they lost to 1 saved awp and usps at 13-11 OG.
Honestly says a lot about c9 that they still almost lost after that.
Says alot that they still almost beat C9. Hope they either fire their coach or learn how to play proper tier 1 cs before the major. Because they are gonna get smashed by a team in good form.
