Genuine question. Has he ever seemed even a little happy? Smiling, laughing or joking?
Speculation, but I think part of why he is a fascist who is obsessed with power, and sentimentally cries when he feels moved and cares, is that he can't actually feel joy. Those are his only ways of feeling good.

I thought I saw him laugh once, but turned out to be a cry.
Just saw the Joe Rogan video where he laughs about being accused of sexual misconduct by a patient, but it's not a happy laugh - he's laughing it off, and/or it's a nervous laugh.
Smile? Yes. Laugh? I don't think so, but other people here have said they have.
I noticed something similar about Trump. I have NEVER seen the man laugh. Ever.
Smiling and laughing are for betacucksimps (BCS) with high agreeableness. Serious Men don't want the laugh lines to ruin their skin, so that they remain attractive to the ladeeez.
Authoritarians have no real sense of humor. At most, they'll have the kind of sadistic "humor" that third grade bullies have from pushing someone down the stairs. Their rigidity doesn't allow for the possibility of absurdity or lightness, and they take -themselves-, and their stupid ideology (whatever it is, if they have one-Trump obviously doesn't) SO seriously that ANY poking at it is scandalous, not acceptable. These are of course also the same people who call everyone -else- "snowflakes;" they are of course projecting harder than the Sundance film festival.
Only when he shares a mean hot take with another edgelord.
I saw him laugh on an old Joe Rogan show when he said, I shouldn’t say this, but I found a way to monetize social justice warriors. Then he laughed his head off.
I wish it weren’t true, but he’s right, he found a way to do that. He just needed to let go of any last filaments of intellectual integrity to do so.
I bet he'd love trying to do that, honestly, can't stand him.
He was laughing when he tried to square dance at a shitty Nashville bar but then it quickly turned into crying.

There was a video of him dancing with his wife at a club, he looked pretty happy then. And I saw a rather cute video of him playing with his granddaughter in which he looked happy.
He does spend an inordinate amount of time angry at the world, but everyone is happy from time to time.
The only time I've ever seen him even mildly happy was when his daughter dolled him up with makeup.
He sometimes laughs when recalling someone getting brutalized, or when he's taking shots at "The Left", or when he jokes about how demonic or evil he is or isn't.
But otherwise, he does not laugh. He is a miserable resentful, violence-obsessed bigot trying to make more people like him.
Today I saw a video about how he was accused of misconduct because a patient thought he had feelings for her. This was because he was twiddling with his wedding ring. Joe Rogan made a joke about how he has been doing the same with his own ring during the interview, and how he was stretching it. And they both had good, honest laughs about the freudian implications of joe stretching out his wedding band during a talk with peterson.
It was a genuine, good humored laugh. It happens, it's just rare

I have seen him laugh, but it has been a while. Like when he just started lecturing online, he'd joke and laugh. Maybe it's because he's realised laughter and jokes don't trend as well as anger and trans hate that he decided to cut that out, or edit it out.
What kind of jokes did he make?
I know he has changed, mentally, over the years, and I'm pretty sure he's completely anhedonic now.
