Adorable! And with the grass types, the “predator/prey” division is almost invisible!
One of my favorite types. I love it
He’s trying his hardest!
To the point of busting pokeballs, yes. That's desperation
Little did they know the venlil ARE the pokemans
!So are the humans!<
Pff. No depth perception.
Human arms + wrists are also weirdly optimized for throwing
That's another part of the issue, yes
I would love a story of this guy, even if it was just a one shot
:D
The colors and perspective are top notch and I dig the Venlil trainer design! Overall a lovely piece~
This looks almost straight out of pokemon, I adore this!
Thanks, it was my intent to imitate a screenshot from the anime~
The main antagonistic of story use Forbidden Pokémons.
(Read the next line with generic anime villain voice): I summon you... Medieval Knight.
"Ayy-Are Fifteen, I choose you!"

Prompt "venlil pokemon trainer" by u/Mega_Rayqaza
One would think that the fighting part of the pokemon setting would be the main problem for a venlil - but really, most pokemon-keepers in the setting only spar occasionally, and the pokemon canonically enjoy it, and may expect it from their trainer. No, it's putting a team together to begin with that is the issue
As it involves throwing things with force and precision, an eminently human skill
The pokemon already in the team are a sableye, which looks very similar to u/migulehove's venlil style, and an espurr, another pokemon reminiscent of a venlil, known to help their trainers mange their emotions. Which seems necessary here
Aw man, this is awesome! I love how it turned out!
