Phone1 sometimes unresponsive and low refresh rate

So I recently bought the phone 1 and I noticed that every now and then, when I try to unlock the phone using the finger print sensor, it will unlock but become unresponsive and the refresh rate turns very low (to the point where you can actually see the refresh rate with the naked eye).

This only happens sometimes and it does go away when I lock and unlock the phone again.

Is this a common bug? Does anyone know what's going on there? (This happened on Android 12 and the latest Android 13 update)
