How do i make sure my IP doesn't get leaked when using Sonarr.

Let me preface this by saying I am very paranoid about leaking my IP and getting a DMCA email from my really strict ISP. I run Sonarr, Radarr, Prowlarr and qBittorrent all in a Docker compose stack. My VPN is bound to qBittorrent, but as I said, I am very paranoid about leaking my IP. In the past I have always unmonitored any movie or series I have in Sonarr and Radarr to make sure that i never have them automatically download anything. However, every time in want to download new seasons of a show or even add a new movie I have to mess with the monitoring settings again.

Today, I stumbled upon the RSS settings (Sonarr or Radarr> Settings> Indexers> Show Advanced> RSS Sync Interval). Will turning this number to 0 minutes allow me to be able to keep everything monitored, but not have any new episodes or movies automatically downloaded?

There are also some settings similar to this in Prowlarr. It is located in Prowlarr> Settings> Apps> Sync Profiles> Standard> Enable RSS). My understanding is that this basically does the same thing as mentioned above but before anything even gets to Sonarr or Radar.

This is all from my understanding that RSS is the only way Sonarr and Radarr can automatically download new movies/episodes.
