Game locks at 15 fps in Single Player only

Help

I don't know why but the game is running at 15 fps (between 14 and 16) in single player no matter what graphic options I run it on, even on everything at minimum or maximum it kept the same fps.

This doesn't happen in multiplayer where my fps behaves normally.

Not only that but when I ran a single player map the first time it ran at around 50 fps, the same map a day after and it's at 15 when all I did was get some wood.

Any idea on how to fix this issue?

Multiplayer is going to run better because it's not solely relying on your PC to load data. The server is taking the bulk of the data and it reduces the load on your PC hardware, therefore improving fps and performance.

To help with your problem, there needs to be more info. At a minimum, PC specs and whether it's desktop or laptop are needed to begin working towards a solution to your problem.

My pc specs are:
GPU - 1060 6GB
CPU - i7 4770k

32 GB of RAM and the system is running Windows 10. It's a desktop.

While I understand there is a stark difference in performance I would expect lowering the graphics to increase performance, but nothing I do changes the fps of the game.

Awesome. Thanks for the info. Okay, I'm not sure how knowledgable you are when it comes to PCs, but here are a few basic things to start with that will hopefully fix your issue:

Make sure your display or HDMI cable is plugged in to the graphics card and not the motherboard. (I made this mistake the first time I built a PC and felt pretty dumb when I figured it out)

Make sure your PC is using the dedicated graphics card and not the CPU (right-click on display and select NVIDIA control panel) and maybe just take a gander at those settings to see if anything doesn't look right

Check your monitor settings in windows and make sure your refresh rate (Hz) and resolution matches your monitor specs (FYI-monitors make a big difference in gaming performance, so if you have a crap one like I did at first, you might want to invest in a better one when you're able)

Check your windows graphics settings and make sure GPU scheduling and variable refresh rate are on

Make sure windows game mode is on

Make sure any background apps not needed for gaming are turned off in windows settings

Put your windows power plan to performance

Make sure you have plenty of storage on your drive

Make sure the in-game window mode setting is set to full screen

I'm sure you already did this, but make sure all your drivers are up to date.

I solved the issue.
I did all the things you described but it didn't help, somehow however removing 1 mod at a time and testing fixed the issue.

Mind you I also tried running the game with NO mods and that didn't help, so I'm at a loss as to what actually fixed it. Thanks for taking the time to compile a list of solutions though, I hope someone in the future will be helped by reading it :P

You are very welcome. I'm really glad you got it fixed. I know how frustrating these types of issues can be. There're a million moving parts that could be the culprit, which can make it even more frustrating when trying to narrow it down. At least yours unf**ked itself without too much fanfare.
