My girlfriend don't want to live with my mom after marriage!

Hello Everyone!

A bit of context: I am a 26 year old man, Software Engineer. Ive been raised my Single mom, my mother got divorced when I was very young, She never re-married, Raised me all by herself and She is 49 years old working teacher. I've been living with my Mother till date.

The issue is : I've been dating a girl and we are all set to marry next year, While discussing some life things, She mentioned that she want to live separately post marriage!! Which made me uncomfortable. My mother is always very good to her, never bothered anything but why my gf wants to live separately!!

When I politely confronted her that what's the issue with keeping my mom with us after marriage, She immediately said that's how it's supposed to be done! And suggested that my mom can live alone..We will visit her on holidays! I tried to convince her to kindly consider my mom, as she raised me all by herself selflessly and never Re-married/Re-Settled, but my GF clearly declared that it's a no option thing. She can't live with my mom. Period.

Now, My gf is also in IT working like me, We can easily keep my Mom with us, But my GF somehow don't like the idea!

I want to ask all the women, Is it a good idea to shift separately with my wife after marriage and leave my mother to live alone all by herself?
