Overnight: Prefolds or Fitted??

Currently using BumGenius Freetime AIO during the day at home. I use disposables at night and when we leave the house because she leaks through the cloth. I got so tired of doing the extra laundry.
I've recently read that AIO diapers aren't even recommended for nighttime use because they leak, and that prefolds and fitted diapers are the way to go. SO what do y'all think? I know fitted diapers are more convenient but expensive (I'm seeing an average of $20/diaper). Prefolds require some origami skilz but are pretty cheap.
