Questions about dosing

I’m prescribed 2mg twice a day. I have severe anxiety to the point of crippling nausea. But, it’s not enough. I run out monthly and have days of not getting out of bed and they’re MISERABLE. I know 4mg is pretty much max dose. Is there any way to get any more maybe from another dr or switch meds like diazepam or their new nasal spray? Please help me I’m not drug seeking my tolerance has caught up And I’m no miserable
