Best high end resort fisherman’s village area Koh Samui

Samui/Tao/Phangan

Hi to everyone, I’m planning a short stay in Samui (6 nights) and I’m a little bit confused. I’m not new to Thailand and I’ve been in Samui another time for 4 nights but it was a different kind of trip with friends, now I’m with my GF. I really want to enjoy the stay without any stress so I’m planning to rent a car or use taxis so my best bet to stay away from go go bars, loud parties and so on is maybe fisherman’s village. My first choice is the Sala resort but I’m open to suggestions for fisherman’s village high end resorts, I don’t have a budget so feel free to suggest the best in the area. I’m looking for clean beach, good main pool and good nearby / in house restaurants. I’m looking at Anantara bophut resort or Hansar resort. Thanks in advance

I stayed at Anantara Bophut and it was fantastic.

Service was excellent, food was delicious, the beach was beautiful, rooms were amazing and the location was just a 2 mins walk to fisherman’s village.

How’s walking at night to the village? There’s a lot of restaurants for families right? My GF is Japanese so I’m looking for a smooth Thai experience

Walking to fisherman’s village literally takes 2 minutes. You could walk by the beach where there is a pavement or by the payment by the main road.

Plenty of restaurants catering to all types of diners.

Did you feel safe?

Extremely safe.

I also live in Thailand and feel safe in 99% of the areas in the rest of Thailand.

If you're open to a different location in Samui, Banyan Tree was AMAZING and would completely fulfill your requirements. It's got it's own private bay and is romantic and relaxing and isolated from parties.

I’ll look into it, thanks a lot

one taxi trip = car rent for a day. Holiday inn near fisherman

Holiday inn is more child oriented as I see from the photos but thanks for the advice. Regarding the car rent / taxi fee it’s not a problem I just need to relax and if it cost a little bit more it’s not an issue

We just stayed in the pool villa at this place and absolutely loved it.

It's a little on the pricey side but it meets all the criteria you outlined.
