undefined gates that could bridge the split: i read they are the obsession of the not-self. what does that actually mean?

I checked my bridging gates and I notice they are definitely things that Im quite „obsessed with”. (36,30,49 and 35) But that brings me the question? Technically what is the goal with these gates?

Hypothetically (not a realistic situation) Would a person living as true self (following AnS) not feel any identification with the themes of the gate? Would they have no energy to fullfill those gates in their life?

Its difficult for me to phrase so Feel free to ask questions if its not clear.
