[Discussion] What if certs never reset?

Even a maxed out Turtle God certified item would lose all its progress if traded away. That’s probably why I feel a bit bad grabbing someone’s extremely leveled random item. So I always wondered, how would the opposite play out?

I feel like if levels followed the item trade to trade then maxed leveled items would be in demand and probably worth more, since you don’t need to worry about them changing names anymore (and they’re impressive)

But more obviously I can see “brand new” items being worth a huge premium. Maybe it’d get to a point when any low number for some certs is considered more “OG” kind of like mileage in a car. That sort of price altering could be exactly like deadstock shoes - people paying premiums to never use their items in fear of them losing value.

Also what if it had more of a scoreboard and kept track of which user scored which points? Anything even touched by an RLCS player would 10x value.
