I actually logged out when I hit the clouds... when I logged back in the buggy was on the ground and I was falling from a great height, I hit the shift key and luckily slid down a hill so didn't die again... I was actually on my way to pick up my backpack after dying previously...
...by the time I got to the place I died it was only by chance I found all my QT-RTG and Snail buddies as the backpack had dissapeared.
I really hope they add different arnour or something because sometimes you die form minor falls or jumps, it's pretty crap the current build, even in low grav when you come down from a height but slowly then die... or get out your ship and die...
The height from the cockpit (on landing pad) to the ground should be the safe fall height... this is the future no? My dude is weak AF.
