Still has to clear Congress.

Also caps spending so I guess feds will just suffer for the next two years without a raise as cost of living increases. Then we'll get another OPM survey on why people don't want to work for the feds anymore.

But hey, at least the Republicans managed to make life easier for the real heroes of society - the mega wealthy.

I still don't understand why some feds still vote republican.

I admit I worded the title a bit poorly. They’re closer than I ever thought they would be though. I thought we would have another week of the same ol’ same ol’ of this past month. Yes, really sick of surveys. Think I have one in my inbox thinking of it.

Eh, federal employee raises could still be rolled into a budget / CR / Omnibus in the future. It’ll be hard for congress to justify a raise for DoD employees in the next NDAA and not for civilian employees. While separate, it’s hard to talk about one and not the other.

With the renewed push to make us at will employees I’d stop filling those out.

I hope so. I just became a Fed last December. Was hoping to stay one. lol

Lol I was starting to think about if I had enough extra cash to keep us afloat on this one. I have come to realize I need way more to feel comfortable.

Yeah same. I could go for at least 3 months. But as a new Fed with DoD on Prob. I would need to apply immediately to other local places jic

Is the deal going to be like us drinking poison and them watching us die?
