It’s been a few weeks, you think. You did something. Something bad.

Some people took you away. They helped you, or at least you think they helped.

You can’t really remember. The Doctor’s definitely helped though. She’s helped make everything more clear.

But… something feels wrong. There’s a girl in your head. You can’t quite remember her face, or her voice.

But you know she was real.

Plot Summary: This script follows a resistance fighter undergoing the final stages of being 're-programmed' and conditioned by a dystopian regime. The listener's girlfriend, who's undergoing the same thing, is brought in and they're both psychologically tortured to eliminate the last traces of their old personalities.

Character Summary: The doctor is extremely evil. She's not doing this just because it's her job, or because she thinks it's right, she gets a perverse pleasure out of her job. In voicing her, you'd probably want to have this smug, self-obsessed tone to things. On top of that, she's very much the voice of authority. She knows both the listener and Anna are completely under her control and can't do anything about what she's doing to them, and she gets off on it.

Anna, newly reprogrammed from Clarise, has two modes. In the flashbacks, she's hopeful, a little nervous, and happily in love. In the present, when she's being reprogrammed, she's supressing huge amounts of distress. She's unable to resist, but is still aware of just how horrifying her situation is, and it shows in every moment of humiliation... >!right up until the end, where she brakes, and Anna completely takes over as Clarise gives up. That should come with the most forced 'happy' voice you can imagine.!<
