Need some help In the depths

Followed the rito statues in the depths, came to a wall with a yiga clan member who suggested the mine might be in the wall where a statue had fallen. Have tried everything, bombed the discolored bit of wall, climbed, walked around the whole thing. There’s a zonai glider with fans attached but I don’t see how it’s supposed to help me and there’s nowhere to launch it anyway.

Can someone offer me a hint without giving away the solution please? Would appreciate it.
