Biking/Walking in Naxos?

Going to Naxos in late June, and I don't plan on renting a car since I don't know how to drive (welp) but I was planning on renting a bike and just walking around and/or taking the bus. Don't have too many aims for my trip to Naxos besides going to the beaches, Chora, and temple of Apollo. Does this sound feasible for Naxos? Has anyone not relied on a car on Naxos and was it fun/navigable enough?
