returning player- do the growth goals give gold?

i literally just spam-clicked my way through without looking at any of the rewards since my main is at lvl 100... and then i realized a little bit ago that, holy shit, i have 161,446,369 gold. pretty sure i had somewhere in the 200k range at most last time i opened this game... so do the growth goals give you gold, or did my account get hacked?? 😭
