Question for viewers and streamers

If a streamer is trying to go for a let's play vibe on stream, do any of you viewers feel left out or want to click off from a stream if the streamer is not really interacting with chat for most parts of the game since he is focusing on commentating what is happening in game, what he is doing, etc. But, the streamer will interact with the viewers in places like loading screens, travelling from one place to another and mundane in-game tasks.

I am trying to find a right balance between commentating on the game and figuring out when to talk to chat.

Some people I look at are 39Daph and CohhCarnage and I am still figuring how they do it, keeping engagement while really playing the game
