Does he think the third date is set already - he hasn’t text me?

I (28F) met a guy (28M) on Hinge the other week and we’ve been on two dates. After the 2nd date on Monday (2 days ago) he kissed me goodbye and said “Let’s do something on Friday, I’ll text you” but I have yet to hear from him. Does this mean the 3rd date is actually happening Friday in his mind and he just needs to give me details or did he just say that and is ghosting me?

He tends to be a “text the day before” person and after our first date he didn’t text until the day before to ask me on our second. I was convinced he was ghosting me but he said it was one of the funnest first dates he’s ever been on, just wanted to give me my space and not text. I communicated that I would’ve liked a text after the date so for him to not send one this time is a little off putting. On our first date he also didn’t text to confirm or tell me he was on his way so I had to ask him were we still on.

I’m not sure what to do, as he may not have been serious about the date. Do you think this is just his style of communication while dating or he’s not interested?
