Do SSRIs make you more difficult to talk to or is this just a coincidence?

I've noticed that as my friends have gone on SSRIs they've become way harder to talk to or get to do things. Like they don't even respond to me half the time anymore, but expect me to want to talk to them about the thing they want to talk about. I still respond like I always have when they do and keep a conversation going, but still. It's like they've lost all sense of conversation etiquette and have become more selfish.

I noticed this with another friend recently, and I found a couple days ago he's on SSRIs now (he was keeping it secret). Has anyone else noticed this or should I look at myself to see if I'm doing something wrong all of a sudden?
