Which ipad should I buy?

I’ve been looking into getting an iPad for school and I’m having trouble deciding between the 9th gen and the 10th gen. I’m leaning towards 9th gen since it’s cheaper but I prefer the 10th gen design. This iPad would be used for note taking and downloading PowerPoints and recording lectures on goodnotes only. Which iPad and how many gb do you guys think I’ll need?
