Freeze/Crash since last night

Ahoy folks.

As title, been experiencing crash freezes since last night (EU). Played a few hours earlier that day - no issues. Evening comes along and now I'm crashing every 10ish minutes. Game freezes and have to task manager out.

Nothing has changed in my setup.

I verified game files, no change. Did a complete un- then reinstall, and just crashed again.

No idea whats going on.

Anyone got anything helpful? Or experiencing the same? Shared fate and all..

Same for me. Also updated my graphics drivers this morning. Have also bumped up my fan profiles in case it was temp related.

Still happening today.

Yep, did all the same things. verified files, re installed, restarted pc. Freezes every 10mins and have to force quit the game. Steam still says its running and have to tell steam to stop running it everytime.

Silly question: How did you verify your files? Forget, I know how. I forgot how to do it haha. That's how little I usually do it.

My friend have the same problem and we fix it with delete new world data from %appdata%

-> AGS -> New World, and updating hes graphic drivers.U should try it.

Same for me ... were doing expeditions until late last night. This morning when I logged into to do trivial dailys, the game crashes every 8-12 minutes. Not been able to play the game for more than 12 minutes all day.

Not sure if it's related but I started having issues after downloading the most recent PTR. Had to do a "check file integrity" in Steam to get New World proper to work again.

we updated graphics driver. and based on our company its people with nvidia ti cards that have gotten the issues. but that might be just a coincidence

Pre and post update of Nvidia card? I have a feeling that's the issue. If the problems are centered on Nvidia TI cards then they introduced something and didn't vet it properly.

Last night was still ok, but this morning somehow it crashed every 10m or so.

Not sure why; thought my old 2017 PC probably dying.

Crashed once today and taking at least 50% of my resources. Also been noticing "Disclosure Software" running which I do not recall being run before.

Same issue. And all this started since the last 31st May patch.

I think that patch is running multiple executables that it shouldn't be and dragging CPU to 100% and my PC is a pretty good one! It used to be 70% just a week or so ago.

Update geforce drivers! I had same issue for 2 days (commented above) and did this and now im good to go!

Did it and still happening. This isn't the GEFORCE, this is something to do with their update. No other system issues have transpired since the update. No other updates. This happened to a work application once and it was actually a codex issue if I remember.

Also happened before with NW and coincidentally a week later in the next update or two if I remember they fixed it up. After that I had no issues until now.

Yes I had this too in the past. Then some update miraculously fixed it for me. Now all of a sudden right after the patch a couple days ago, this freeze issue started again.
