[GM4FU/F] Explore a mythical depiction of the Danelaw!

The year is 930, three years after Alfred the Great formed England, a unified land on the very border of the Danelaw to help protect their Anglo-Saxon people. It was inevitable that the treaty the two nations had signed many years ago would fall, and more likely than not, opportunistic Norse men would take to raiding the now open nation. And unlike the relatively peaceful nation of England, the Danelaw has spiraled out of control, mythical creatures have been allowed to roam free and not the good kind either. Dragons, werewolves, creatures that lack even a body. All have begun to call the Danelaw their home.

Yet, such a time of turmoil between the two nations is what lead to opportunistic grabs for land, influence, and power. One side will break and bend, and old rulers and holders will no longer be allowed to own their land due to their own seen heathenistic beliefs. Not to mention the inter-scheming to invalidate grand men like Alfred the Great and Guthrum. The noble lands have become fertile fields of land that are simply ready for harvest. Smart people who know the right individuals may go far with this fact.

Influence is almost like a toxic drug for some. Many go searching for as much as they can. You cannot blame them, a hook in the right person is almost as valuable as the gold you may get from them instead. But, if your influence relies on the misplaced belief that you're untouchable. You won't be going far. If your influence makes you enough enemies, then... it is inevitable that you fall as a result of your blindness.

All you are is an unlanded lord, a child of a noble house whose position in line made it so they couldn't inherit the land they had a claim towards. Leaving you destitute and homeless, despite the small chunk of wealth you have received. Regardless, opportunity lies within and outside of your old ancestorial home. Favors with noble men and women could go far... or blackmail of the same people. Power can even be as simple as marrying the right woman, but. That's only if you're fine playing the puppet master.

Hello! I am making a rather open ended plot about a mythical depiction of Anglo-Saxon Danelaw and England! I'll keep this rather short but I am looking for someone to roleplay as any sort of unlanded noble trying to obtain land for themselves. This will be a mix of a sexual plot and a regular adventurer/politics story! A lot of what I'll do is based off of what you say in your character sign up. So the more details you add the better!
