Inconsistent performance on pc?

I've been playing on my new sp world for about 30ish hours and for the first 10, my performance was awful, averaging 15 frames. I just assumed it was ark being ark and it'd go away eventually, which it did, averaging 60. Now maybe every 3 or 4 times I load back into the world it'll run horribly again and I just have to tough it out.

Anyone know why that is or how to fix it?

(Playing on extinction btw, 1650 super, and 16gb 3600 ram. All medium settings except for view distance which is at max)
