GoPro hero 7 silver shuts off / reboots automatically mid recording

Hi,

After a long time I have found my hero 7 silver and decided to use it for my karting sessions. I noticed that the camera randomly shuts off after 10+ minutes and sometimes right after a few seconds. Sometimes the screen goes black and becomes unresponsive.

I am using a SD card that I had in my Mavic Air 2. I formatted it and even formatted it inside the GoPro. Online I am reading that it has to be the SD card but why? Why can I use the card flawless on my drone at 4k but not 1080p on the GoPro.

I know it is an old cam for now. But my it is weird how my friend’s GoPro Hero 4 does it better than my 7.

It is kinda annoying that I can’t record my moments in the kart or when driving in my car. According to the app the camera is up-to-date. What should I do?
